Die Autos sind identisch, 130 PS, 760 kg Volkswagen Käfer Repliken mit allen wichtigen Komponenten verplombt, um sicherzustellen, dass die Autos technisch identisch und von gleicher Leistung sind. Der Höhepunkt der Serie, die 25 Stunden von Spa, ist eines der längsten ununterbrochenen Autorennen der Welt, mit einer Startaufstellung von 152 Autos im Jahr 2006.


The Fun Cup is a racing series created by Franz Dubois in 1997 in Belgium. The cars are identical, 130 bhp, 760 kg Volkswagen Beetle replicas with all major components sealed to ensure the cars are technically identical and of equal performance. The pinnacle of the series, the 25 Hours at Spa, is one of the longest continuous motor races in the world, with a grid size in 2006 of 152 cars.

Jean-Louis Glineur - alias DeVerviers - wurde im April 1964 im belgischen Verviers im Zeichen des Widders als Sohn eines belgischen Berufssoldaten geboren. Die deutsche Ehefrau Martha (nachfolgendes Foto mit Baby Jean-Louis) des Léon Fernand Glineur stammte aus Hollerath in der Gemeinde Hellenthal. Beide lernten sich kennen und lieben, nachdem der 2.
